macOS meeting reminders

Calendar reminders that stay visible.

Calendar Notifications is a macOS app that reads upcoming events from your Google Calendar and displays persistent meeting reminders so important meetings are harder to miss.

Read-only Calendar access

The app requests read-only access to upcoming Google Calendar events. It does not create, edit, or delete your calendar events.

Persistent reminders

Upcoming meetings can remain visible on your Mac until you dismiss them, helping avoid notifications that disappear before you notice them.

Local-first by design

Calendar data is processed on your Mac. Calendar Notifications does not operate a backend service that collects your calendar events.

Why Google Calendar access is requested

Calendar Notifications uses Google Calendar data only to identify upcoming meetings, display event titles and start times, and provide a convenient way to open meeting links associated with those events.

Google account authorization credentials are stored locally on your Mac using encrypted macOS-backed storage. The app does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share calendar content with third parties.
